Guad new

I loved playing at the edgebrook gc. It has a simple setting and is great for beginners.
Dear mr. Casper and mr. Rash,
Sorry I will not golf here due to the poor service and treatment from the young Hispanic lawnmower driver who followed me from hole 11 thru 14. I am sorry for telling him to get out of the way while at hole number 10. Mr. Waun who I was playing with hit his lawn mower. I am sorry for upsetting him.
I reported Him to the supervisor and desk guy, with embarrassing results. I guess I was at fault for golfing when they were cutting the grass.

This place isn't the best. Constant flooding problems and the grass doesn't seem to be maintained very well. You have the option to hit off a mat on every hole which is pointless because all the tees are missing This is a very easy course with two dog legs. The carts there are slow and barely make it uphill. If you come here i suggest arriving between 1-3 because in the morning the course is crowded with seniors who are very impatient and you will be rushed. I give this course 2 stars for scenery only because there are always deer running around which I think is pretty cool and makes you feel like your escaping the city for a few hours. Overall this is a good course for beginners and city folk but once you play on better maintained course for less money you won't want to come back.

- Mats for teeing off are bad enough, but when you can't even place a tee in the mat, it's just stupid.
- Missing distance markers and FLAGS!
- Horrible flood damage with sprinklers watering dirt in the middle of fairways, I'd aim at the rough for a better approach shot
- Even at $17 for 18 holes, that $17 would be better spent at the driving range.

If you like short par 4's, this is the place for you. There are eight par 4's that are less than 300 yards in length. The 13th hole, which is the longest par 4 at 379 yards, is in very poor shape due to constant flood damage and poor drainage. It's not a bad course for a beginning or intermediate golfer, but better golfers should probably avoid it.

You have the choice of dirt tee boxes or driving range mats. Fairways and greens in bad shape. There are definitely better courses you can play in the Chicagoland area for the same price. A good starter course, but thats about all. Twilight was $60 for two of us...felt ripped off...

Worst course I've ever played.

- Asphalt tee box with driving range mat to hit off of. And not the kind that you can stick a tee into.
- Hole 1 - 264 yard par 4
- Hole 2 - 229 yard PAR 3!!
- Green were either perfectly flat or on a rugged 10 degree slope.
- Scorecard indicated there would be distance markers, but there were only 150-yard stakes, an then not even on every hole.
- An idiotic 84 yard par 3 where the green is a good 30 feet above the tee. You're almost guaranteed to go off the back of the green.
- Poor value for cost (even twilight).

We did see 2 deer which was redeeming.

Get the best score of your life here! With a slope of 88 and not a par 5 in site this course is a great place to get your best score ever. Some interesting holes, but fairly cut and dry. Most par 4's come in at around 260 or 270 yards. Trees and bushes are the only problem as accurate golfers may lose a few balls.

The course is short. it is a good starter course for kids and for people just starting to play golf. There are no back tees so your playing forward on 4400 yards of course. They need to update the tee boxes, they have driving range mats on some of the holes and there are no good places to tee your ball. And also need to fix the distances of the par 3's a couple of the "par 3" holes were just as long as some of the par 4 holes on the course.
