I had a good time. They are re-sodding a few of the greens but overall the course is well maintained.

Nice greens and overall decent shape.

I played this course for the first time in 10+ years this past weekend. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how good of condition the course was in. I had no complaints about the course at all, but, as some of the previous reviewers have noted, this place is severely over-booked on the weekends.

My partner and I had a 9:12am tee time, and didn't tee off till almost 10am. When we arrived, the pro shop was full of golfers waiting in line to pay for their round. When we got to the tee box, there were no less than 6 other groups of golfers waiting to tee off. So we decided to hit some range balls while we waited. When we finally teed off, we were told (not asked) that we'd have two other golfers playing with us, but these guys were really slow and held us up the whole day on a course which was jam packed already. The course layout is very compact, so there are a few holes where errant tee shots from one hole will end up on the fairway of another hole, so early on it was really a circus out there. One other minor complaint is that they were allowing golfers onto the course in denim and tee-shirts, when the dress code clearly states no denim and collared shirts required.

As far as amenities, the range is undersized and they charge you for balls even if you've already paid to play a round, but they do have a nice putting and chipping green to practice on, and they kept a cart girl running frequent rounds on the course and their beverages were very reasonably priced.

I think this would be a great course to play on a weekday. I enjoyed it in spite of the crowd (at $28.50 for 18 holes on a Saturday morning, how much can you complain?), but next time I play here I doubt I'll be doing it on a weekend. They just don't do a good job of managing the number of golfers.

A great value at $25 on the weekend. Hilly with lots of blind shots. Several interesting holes but beware the glass-fast greens...

Course has had new management take over and there is a big improvement. The course and the greens were in good shape. The staff was very helpful since is was the first time that I have played CH. There were ambassadors on the course keeping play moving. The price on holiday weekend was great only $25.00 to play 18. Good value.

This course is starting to rub me the wrong way. Played it a few times because it is affordable and near my home. Looked into getting a membership there and had the hardest time getting the lady in charge of memberships to get me information. Played it yesterday and the course was in horrible shape. The greens were dried out and the tee boxes were mixed up. If your looking for a hack and wack course for an "ok" price this is it. Great for begginer golfers.

A fun and challenging golf course.Greens and fairways a little rough. Great value for twilight or dusk. A little pricey on weekends. One problem on this course is lack of courtesy with some foursomes, they play 2 to 3 shots per hole, stand around the green and talk when finished and do not let faster or smaller groups play thru. this is made worse by the lack of rangers and the lack of a take charge ranger when you do see them. I have experienced this on several occasions. I live close to the course and I like to play it late on Saturday and Sunday, but due to the slow play by some foursomes I don't think I will return.

The course is OK. Some of the fairways need work. Greens are in good shape.

I played this course this morning, and the greens were very nice on every hole. the scenery was pretty (wooded).

there are 2 holes that are being seeded. i played with 3 locals, and they all said that these holes have very bad drainage, and are always in bad shape. they said it looks a lot better now then a year ago.

the driving range was really nice too.

it cost me $36 for 18 holes and a small bucket of range balls.

I am 66years old & I have had both knees replaced. I am retired & quit playing about eleven years ago. I could not walk the course without pain.

I joined KIS (an indoor training and instructional course.) I have fun playing again. I love Collins Hill, because of the friends I have made in the club house. They have rebuild the greens. The fairways are in good shape and easy to hit, if you hit the ball right.

All I can say about this course, you need to play it and see the beauty of it. It is short enough to play two rounds, which you can do
as long as there is an opening.

Come out and enjoy this course.

I will look forward to seeing you there.

Right now, my playing partner is gone for the summer. If you need someone to play with (and you play for fun & the love of golf. I do not play for money, because it takes away the fun.

My cell number is (404) 408 1116).

Good Course

This course is challenging. Some very tight fairways with thickly forrested trees. Several holes you must hit the fairways or forget finding your ball. The 18th has private property along the left and right that is fenced off all the way. A german shepard lives in the house on the left and is very adept at sneaking up on you and barking like a savage in the middle of your backswing so stay right on 18 (not kidding!). I play this course frequently and it gets much easier when you become familiar with it, but for newcomers, bring your A game and/or lots of extra balls.

The driving range is small, but good enough for a warm-up. There is a very nice, large practice green and a separate green for chipping & pitching. Speaking of greens, they put in all new greens this past summer and they are very nice. Membership plans are extremely reasonable, but the regular daily fee has been a bit pricey if you ask me. Still, it's a good place to play--and the towels they provide in the carts are a very nice touch.

I have played on this cours now 4 times. They are re-doing the greens at this time and They are working continuely on the course. They had a storm come through and took down some trees.
They will have all but three of the greeens open the third week of August. The other three had to be redone becuse they were not up to specks.

This a good course to test your accuracy off of the tee. I would advise that you take 20 minutes on the rangew, or take some extra golf balls with you. When you hit into the trees, you cannot go get most of them.
