Course Reviews

Fantastic gold course. Also most of the popular fort walton beach hotels are close to it.

If you want a course that is more than fair, play the Pines course. It plays fairly easy and rarely will you lose a ball, unless you like to hit it in the water. Bad shots often times don't kill your score because the hazards are not really in play. If you're a short knocker play the Oaks because it plays 5,800 yards from the whites. Great course to develop confidence in your game.

I played the Pine on Sunday Memorial Day Weekend. Another HOT! day. After playing the other FWB muni course, the Oaks, the Pines paled in comparison. The maintenance was not as good as the Oaks. After talking with a marshal, we found out that more people play the pines. The back nine were is better shape. Overall still a very nice course. T

Are you sure it's a public course?

Played both courses at the end of April, during a Vietnam Reunion with my father. Fairways were perfect, cut dollar bills out of them. Greens were smooth and true. We played a much more expensive course also, and the higher priced course could not hold a candle to FWB Golf Course. Excellent value, just an incredible experience all the way around. Played both courses and neither of the courses let us down. Rewarded for good shots, slightly penalized for bad shots. Overall, this is without a doubt two of the best courses we have ever played, public or private.
