While I had a lot of fun at this course, I'm not sure how it earns 4 stars. Assuming a Pebble Beach type course is 5 stars, I don't believe this deserves a 4 star rating.

The course itself was in average condition, the greens were awful though. A few of the holes seemed like the grass was diseased and dying, and the first par 5 on the back 9 (I think it's the 14th hole) barely had any grass on the green only large hard dirt patches.

The other big issue I had with the course was it's build right on the edge of I-84 and the highway traffic is very loud and distracting, especially on the few holes directly adjacent to the road.

This all being said, they do a few things very well. The course is very diverse in being able to drive long off some holes and having to play delicate iron shots for others. As well as the diversity in hole types the staff is very very outgoing, always present, and very good at their job. We were given a few dollars off our meal in the clubhouse, the ranger was always around, and kept the game moving, and the starter was very friendly and helpful.

All in all, I probably wouldn't go back because I can find friendly staff and diverse layouts elsewhere and the sub par conditions weren't worth returning for.

A relatively easy course. They are continuing to improve the course.
