Tyngsboro Country Club , Tyngsboro, MA

I just played here last Saturday. It's a typical little backwoods townie 9-hole public course, so, what can you say? I actually had my best round EVER here - I shot 45 for 9 holes. To break 50 for me is amazing. I birdied a par 5 here, which has never happened. Anyhow, it's your typical little 9-hole course that the townies adore with a passion but visitors don't like at all. It was dead when I was there and I got to play alone. The fairway/rough is pretty similar in length - which was weird. I had no problem with the greens. Some of the holes are weird - with ditches/ponds RIGHT before the green or a huge tree in the middle of the "fairway". I thought it was ok - mostly because I played so well, but for the same price I've played other courses which are much much nicer.

this was probably the worst course i have ever played in my life. the overall feel of the course was tacky. there is no fairway and this course. all the grass is like rough length including the tee box. all the greens were slow. many had crabgrass in them and some were so long and slow u basically couldnt play them like a true rolling surface. the course is almost too short to be fun. i drove one of the par fours with a 4 iron which i play at about 180 yards. the sand traps had grass growing in them and were horrible. there is nothing good i can say about this course

Half of the greens were nice and half were terrible.
