The 18-hole "Heritage Hill" course at the Heritage Hill Golf Club facility in Shepherdsville, Kentucky features 7,112 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Douglas Beach, the Heritage Hill golf course opened in 2007.
I play this course several times a month. It's a beautiful course that is consistently challenging. Every hole is picturesque and if it was located 20 miles further north, would cost $120 per round. The driving range and putting green are fine, but they could really use a place to chip with a sand trap. My only other gripe is that, toward the end of the summer, the greens tend to get abused by golfers who fail to fix ball marks (very soft and receptive greens).
Played this course this past wednesday for the first time. This course is very tough if your a beginner. It's very well maintained though, but only drawback it's cart only you can't walk this course.
Staff gets a 10, really great from the pro shop, to the cart guy, to the restaurant. The sort of place that reminds you of what friendly, customer focused people can add to the experience.Very good layout that will get better as it ages. Lots of interesting holes with lots of variety, although all the par 4's and 5's are driver holes and all the par 3's are long iron from the Blue tees. The course is carts only. I'm a walker, so that will keep me from playing it again. But if you're happy to ride in a cart, I highly recommend it.
