Trophy Club Golf Course Description


The 18-hole "Trophy Club" course at the Trophy Club of Atlanta facility in Alpharetta, Georgia features 6,958 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 72.5 and it has a slope rating of 131 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Steve Melnyk, the Trophy Club golf course opened in 1991. American Golf Corporation manages this facility, with King Simmons as the General Manager.

One of the best I've ever played

This course is one of the most under rated in the Atlanta area. Unless you know or have someone who has played this course you might overlook it. If you’re in town to play golf you need to stop here. I've played this course at least 50 times while in Atlanta and every time is an enjoyment. The greens are fast stemp at about 11 to 12; the tee boxes and fairways are always in great shape. This layout isn't for everyone. I would say the mid to lower handicappers should place Trophy Club on their must play list while in Atlanta.
