First off, this course is immaculate!!! I paid $19 for 9 holes, but I wish they paid me at least $19. Talk about a piece of fucking @$!*%. If you like uncut tee boxes, four inch fairways, ponds in the sand traps and subpar greens, this is the place for you!! I wouldn't even let my dog take a @$!*% on this course, although it is built on a landfill, so I guess my dog would just be adding to the @$!*%. And if he was too afraid to go, I would take down my pants and give this course what it deserves, a big fucking piece of @$!*%. Between the scumbag people that play this course and the queers in the pro shop, this course has more to offer than most around!! Make sure you spray your aids resistance on before playing!! This being said, enjoy!!!!!

This is a very public course. It gets lots of play but the staff does a good job keeping it up. The course is rough around the edges. Lots of hard pan and very tight lies off the fairway. With all the recent heat and no rain, these guys have done a great job of keeping the course in playable condition. The back 9 is totally different from the front nine. More hilly terrain and tougher. Some rude players though.......people just don't get it......nobody teaches good course behavior. I like to walk, and playing 1 hole usually doesn't take more than 10 minutes. Because I walk people assume I am slow and will hit into you when you're waiting on the group in front of you. That's just a pet peave, not a reflection on the golf course.

I just played this course about a month ago.. and these last reviews are from a couple years ago.. this course was the worst course i have ever played on.. there was more dirt than fairway grass.. the rough grass looks like the grass that grows in my backyard.. the bunkers were clay/rock mix... completely unplayable... teeboxes needed cut and the greens were slow and damaged!this course plays for $32 a round and is unacceptable.. please try other courses in the area for the same price such as Charlotte National or Larkheavan.. these courses are great for $30 a round and will leave you 10 times as satisfied as charles t. myers will... take this review as a warning and dont waste your money here.

Long but open

This course is wide open for people who hit big but are not sure where it will go. I like the length of this course that tests your distance with not only the driver, but all your clubs. I don't lose a lot of balls here, but I heard that it could happen, giving the player an all around sense of fun. some holes, you could hit your drive 45 degrees left or right, and still make a 2 on if you have long irons. Great course, great staff, great price, but its kinda an easy course.

This is a great municipal course that is well maintained and reasonably priced. The course is challenging for beginner/intermediate players to learn from and fantastic for veteran players to practice on. This is a fun course that is well maintained with great vistas of the North Carolina hillside. For the great service you get, you can’t beat this course for the money you pay!

Great place for beginner/ intermediate golfers. Hit hte ball straight and long and you can shoot a good game here. Excellen tgolf instructor there (Alan Avakian)! They have really improved the overall condition of the course and greens.

Great course considering it borders the ghetto and was built on a landfill. Grounds crew do an amazing job on an over played course. Well worth the cheapest greens fees around. Will definitly play again!

Played in late Feb when weather was warm. Greens were in good shape and are tough. Fairways were very good also, it is a course I would play again, well worth the value.
