I played this course for the first time with two of my friends. None of us scored well, but all of us thought it was a great resort desertlike course and very challenging. The greens are very challenging and there are several forced carry holes over environmentally sensitive brush. This course is a bit dry but the conditions are very good overall. The only problem was the lack of drinking water on the course, and the temperature reached into the high 90's that day. The staff was very nice and helpful and all of us will definitely return again.

For a true report on the golf course, one of the hardest courses to play in LA County. A pitching wedge can go your normal length or close to 30+ yds longer or your drive could be close to 80+ yds shorter, it all depends on the wind. Greens play pretty true. Scenery is better in the winter when the run off water is heard throughout the course. It's unfortunate that people have ripped this course to shreds. If we are rating the course honestly, they should have high marks. If the people were the issue, then perhaps a low rating should be only for that.....BUT....this course is awesome. Thank goodness people can be replaced. Hopefully you have just as good as an experience as I had.

Roll the dice baby...it's worth it to play once.....assuming you can afford this course.

I am very surprised the PGA allows their events to be held at Angeles National Golf Club. This club is being sued for discrimination! They have a reputation for treating Jewish people and females very bad (unless you happen to be a "caddy girl: - i.e. check out caddy girls on the internet - they are "hired" to do "whatever"). Angeles National Golf club has no problem welcoming those kinds of females to their facility. Shame the PGA! Shame on you Sunland for allowing this in your community!

I can't comment on the management or any racism that goes on here. I am not Caucasian, and played here for the first time. I was treated very well and I really enjoyed the course. Played on a Tuesday mid-morning, and hardly anyone on the course. Finished the round in 3.5 hours. Maybe the $98 green fees kept people away. Tough course, but fair. Challenging but fun. Beautiful scenery. Any shot off the rough, and you will lose the ball. Fast greens, but consistent. The fairways are a little brown, and also fast. Carts have GPS. In terms of the ambiance, the only negative is the traffic noise from the 210. Will definitely play again.

The PGA needs to disassociate themselves with Angeles National Golf Club!

The management at Angeles National Golf Club is racist! They recently kicked out a young up and coming (black) golfer and told him he can't play there any more. Last year Angeles National Golf Club wouldn't allow a Jewish player to play there!

Angeles National Golf Club is like Nazis!

I definitely would not play here again. Rates are way too high! I guess the rates are high to pay for the "new" clubhouse. Also, I did not know about the countless lawsuits against the golf course from their ex-employees. Got to be management and their wrong doings!

I would not play here. The people who run Angeles National Golf Club are being sued (by a lot of people!) for discrimination. Just do a search of cases at the Los Angeles Superior Court if you don't believe me. The homeless activists are after them too due to the way they terrorize the homeless people in the area! This place is also too expensive and the service is terrible.
