Wonderful course and people. Very friendly. Back 9 harder than front 9.

This is one of my favorite courses in the Sacramento area. The course is always very well maintained and the rough is just about right and not too punishing. On the longer par 4s and par 5s the fairways are wide open. There are a few holes that are challenging such as 3,5,9,10,11, and 16. Staff is always friendly.

Nice course, pretty good value for your money. A couple challenging holes. Somewhat narrow, so plan on losing a few balls.

Nice course, maintained pretty well and pretty good value. There were some challenging holes based on the wind that day. Some holes played easier and others more difficult. If you'r ein teh area its worth a play for sure.

well I must say I had not played here for awhile. the track was in great condition,
I had set a tee time on line the week of 10/1/07, I was called on that saturday.was informed that there had been a mix up for that monday tee time, they had a tourey all day going on,at that time I was asked if I wanted to set another tee time,by the golf pro Tony. I told him I'd think about it and give him a call back.(I was pissed)
well I called back and set a time for 10/8/07, I asked for Tony he was not in,I got his voice mail so I left a message, because the week before he said he'd take care of green fees in some kind of way.
well I did not hear from him after 2 other messages. but let me tell ya when I checked in,with our foursome,3 of the the green fees were paid for he also came out of his office and greeted all four of us in the group.
after the round Tony came out and gave me and another person in our group a 30min tune up lesson.(he was was sorry for the mix up)
I must say good friendly customer service I'd go back.

Wildhawk Review

I really love this course. I play it year round. The wind determines it's difficulty. The fairways are fantastic 10 months/year (for the area, top 5). The range is great with the grass open. Range mats are the worst in the state. The course challenges every level of your game. The greens are on the fast side, preferred for the low handicapper, but always slow on the practice greens. The rough can swallow balls so don't underestimate the open look of the course. The fairway bunkers challenge the slicer more than the hooker.
3.5 stars.

Water does not come into play. Greens are large and forgiving. Ball not in fairway is hard to find in the rough. Good course to practice your skills.
