For the price of golf here it is extremely overpriced. You can walk at Palo ALto for 45 dollars and play 36+ holes if you had the energy to. Plus the geese leave their mark here. After a round of 18 you spend 5-10 mins cleaning the goose crap off your shoes and equipment. I would recommend Palo Alto or Poplar Creek for your moneys worth. 60+ for weekend rates is extortion here.

so I played here on a Fri and 1st let me say I don't know how anyone can putt on such terrible greens... they were damp and soft, and full of footprints and very bumpy. there was a Jr tourney in front of us, and I don't know how they managed to pull off the scores they did. the geese are still a nuisance too with there huge droppings.
between the 2 I thought the greens were still horrible.
the course overall was good, the sand traps were about 50/50 wet, hard, thin with other being good. thank god I didn't have to sample them. there is still work going on in some spots but its manageable. the last part was as we stood on the 1st tee with the starter, the group ahead of us had already hit 7 shots and not past 200yds yet, I'm not kidding. I asked the starter about whats there policy about this type of play.??? he said there not much we can do, and maybe we should just driver around them to #2, which we did, and the pace was better for 4 holes and got bogged down again. it was a friday and it was hot, 98* so that may have been it. I can see this being a fun track to play, but wouldn't go here for the pm or twilight as its very hard to see your ball in sun and the wind can be horrible too. so morning rounds are probably better. the food looks great, and the bar is big. oh the last thing was I took a cart and was by my self, 25.00
no break if your alone, that sucked... oh well it is what it is I suppose. so my rating for them is about a 3 overall. would I play here again, maybe but not in the pm, as there are other courses that are better for the buck... good luck guys

I just played this course for the first time and found it to be a surprisingly good course for (a) the money, and (b) being a muni. It was 38 bucks to walk on a Monday. There is a lot of variety to the holes and you can make it a real challenge if you want by playing it from the blues or the newly(?)-created black tees. It's a well-designed course with some good shot values and a little bit of planning required once in a while. There is, however, one significant downside to this course. It's in a nature preserve. As such the city can't do anything to keep out the huge numbers (and by huge I mean thousands) of coots that wander the course. As a result, the fairways and greens are awash in green bird crap. We played just a few days after a major storm came through the area, so with the muddy areas still drying out and the omnipresent "coot poop" we decided to play lift-clean-and-place as the only way to make it tolerable. I'd have rated the course much higher on Maintenance had it not been for this.
