The views are awesome, the course is tough but fair and was in great shape. We had been told it was not always in good shape. No houses, wilderness, and you are out in the dessert alone. They do not have yardage books so you will be playing blind on a few holes. This was one of our groups favorite tracks, and will be added to the must play every trip list. They do not have a club house, just a chain link fence surrounding the golf carts.
Kind of off the beaten path, but well worth the extra driving. Using a trailer for a clubhouse, I didn't have much of a fuzzy feeling. The cart barn is a chained link fence near a gravel parking lot. So far, not so good. BUT once you get on the course it's as good as Troon North. Great scenic holes thoughout the desert. Course is in fantastic shape. Only two houses on the course so far so it's a very private scene, kind of like We-Ko-Pa at a much nicer price.
This hidden gem is well worth the drive north of Scottsdale! The course is challenging, immaculently maintained and there are NO HOUSES on it YET! It is also a great value. The course layout is very challenging and fun!!! 5 stars all the way. Also the scenery is excellent. . . desert and mountain views with no homes to clutter it up!
