I played this course back in 2006 so I hope things are different now. Back then this was a terrible course. It is out by the airport, owned by the city of Phoenix and not worth the money. Overall the course was unkempt and felt like playing on a rockpile. This is one of 5 courses the city owns. The other four are much better. Skip this course, not worth the travel or the money.

worth playing, they were in process of making cart paths when i played in November. enjoyable to play, if playing from tips it is a long course but very playable. find it at discounted rate for i am not sure it is quite worth the 70$ they ask. will def play again.

I am from Tennessee and just don't understand these courses with no cart paths. Nothing special for the price. The cart girls are not friendly and have no apparent order to their service. We played 18 holes there on a 96 degree day and saw the cart once and then she smarted off when we told her to hurry back. She stated that she would get back when it suited her. It will suit us not to go back.

We played this course the week before the Lpga event & were amazed pros would play such a course. The layout & ultrafast greens were fine. The pasture for fairways, ragged rough, dirt bunkers, and generally shabby conditioning were not. An interesting course and a reasonable value at $55, but not tour quality.

I played this course as a youngster and was always happy with its condition until now! I've given it 2 tries and when they say they have "tour" quality greens they must have meant "pour" quality greens. There are no ball washers on the course. There are no bench’s to sit and rest for us walkers. There is no drinking water on the course and they charge you $3 a bottle to quench your thirst. The staff is not friendly with the exception of the bag/cart guys. I cannot believe they are going to play the LPGA tourney there in March. Must come down to money, that is money in someone’s pockets. No Club house! Just a double wide. Don't play here for a year until the AGA get's their act together. Total rating from me on a scale from 1 to 10, 2!

I played this course as it had been recommended by a friend. I booked on line getting what I thought was a good deal (approx. $100) for the month of February. That was till I got there. The clubhouse is a trailer, you have to pay for warm up balls, and the golf course is in terrible shape. I understand it has just gone through extensive renovations and that conditions will not be perfect and I can accept that. But to charge that king of money for this course, at this time is unacceptable. I was so upset and disappointed I left after 9 holes. When I expressed my disappointed to the pro shop staff they simply said we're sorry you feel that way - with absolutely no sincerity in there voice. I got the feeling they didn't care. Bottom line, thinking of playing this course, save your money. I am playing the TPC Champions course for $55 today. Half the price and twice the golf course. Play anywhere but here. I'm sure once the course matures it will be fine but by the looks of it this make take several years. Papago. if you read these please do yourself a favor and lower your price until conditions improve. If the price had been lower I would not be writing this. People are looking for fare value for the dollar and this course is not it.

I played this course ALOT. Mostly because it was convenient to where I lived. The other reason is because its a long course. Outside of that??? How did this course get into the top 100 let alone #28?????? This course USED to be a good course years ago. If you want a quick course, sure this is pretty good for the price. But if you are in Phoenix there are TONS of good courses. As for Muni's...Aguila is far better.
