Asher & Golf Pride: $175 | CHECK ASHER GOLF

The box set includes 13 Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grips – covering every club but your putter – and two matching premium Asher gloves. The set is available in four fall-themed color options: Ash, Cognac, Oxblood and Spruce.

The Asher and Golf Pride collaboration is available to all golfers, a detail the underserved golf populations – women, lefties, and lefty women – will appreciate. Each of the four color options are available in men’s (S through XXL) and women’s (S through L) sizes and in left and right-handed options. All grips in the set are standard size. Like the grip, Asher’s glove for the collaboration set includes both Asher and Golf Pride branding.

The fall-themed box set is available exclusively through Asher Golf. Gloves or grips from the set are not available individually.

If you’ve never slipped an Asher Golf glove over your hand, doing so for the first time will be a treat. The AAA Cabretta leather is durable and comfortable. It’s soft and moves freely with your hand, the opposite of golf gloves that become crusty over time. There’s a reason Asher earned the top spot on our best golf gloves list.

Best Golf Gloves: Find the Glove That Fits Your Game

Asher, the golf glove and apparel company in its early teens (established in 2009), has always aimed to give golfers two things: high-quality golf gloves with more personality than traditional all-white options.

Rather than achieve that second objective through high-contrast patterns and bright colors that scream from three fairways away, Asher’s MO is to use colors one at a time, monochromatic patterns, and complimentary accent colors to deliver an understated, yet distinct look. If you’re looking for flashy and loud, you’ll have to look somewhere else.

That, however, makes the unity of Asher and Golf Pride a match made in golf heaven, literally. Golf Pride’s headquarters in Pinehurst, North Carolina, helped provide the inspiration for the colors in the box set.

"Visiting Golf Pride's Global Innovation Center, which is nestled inside Pinehurst in this extremely beautiful area of pine trees and historic golf, it was so inspiring to me that the color palette really started to come together extremely naturally," Matt Smart, CEO and Managing Partner of Asher Golf said in a release announcing the collaboration.

Golf Pride Limited Edition Tour Velvet 360

The Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip is an all-weather grip textured to keep moisture off the surface. The 360 design ensures the grip returns a consistent look at address, regardless of how the shaft is oriented, making it an ideal grip for adjustable drivers and woods. Besides double-dashed rings at the top and bottom of the grip and Golf Pride and Asher branding on the cap, the only marking on this limited edition Tour Velvet 360 is a single Golf Pride logo at the bottom.

Time to Step Up Your Grips: An Inside Look at Golf Pride Grips

Like Asher, Golf Pride its own reputation for sophisticated, high-quality products. The grip giant isn’t afraid to stray from traditional, neutral colors – after all, Golf Pride has a line of grips with team-inspired color combinations – but you won’t find any loud or distasteful grips with a Golf Pride logo.

The Connection

It’s often noted that the grip is a golfer’s only connection to the club. Seeing as the glove is the connection to the grip, it’s surprising that it’s taken this long for a glove-grip collaboration to materialize.

"You would think gloves and grips are co-designed all the time, but the reality is, I'm not aware a partnership like this has ever happened before," says James Ledford, President of Golf Pride. "The opportunity to work with Asher on a collection that compliments each other is really quite amazing.”
