Video Golf Tip | Eliminate Self Doubting Thoughts
By Ed Ibarguen

It has been a lot of fun to be with you and talk about different thing in the golf swing. I wanted to finish up with one thing that hits every golfer, from Tour Profession to rank beginner. That is the tendency for self doubt, which leads to a lack of self confidence, which leads to confusion, more swing thoughts and worse golf. This is true if you talk to the best players in the world they always fight the peaks and valleys that golf gives them. Remember, golf is a game of misses. It is going to beat you up a little bit and you can not let one bad shot or one bad day turn you away form trusting in what you have worked on in developing your golf game. I just want to say, be careful not to fall into the trap of saying oh, well I need to think about this or that or nine different things. Now all of sudden you are not playing golf anymore. You are just going to end up hitting more bad shots, you are in a vicious cycle. Let's do this. Think of the best round of golf you ever played, I don't care what skill level you are at. The best round of golf you ever played, how much thinking were you doing that day? The truth of the matter is that you were thinking very little. You were getting out there kind of like a kid and just enjoying it and playing. Suddenly you said wow, that was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it. Stay positive, continue to work hard, seek good information, seek good instruction. Don't be afraid to ask for help. There are lots of people in this country, and if you are looking at this from abroad, that really love helping people play better golf. Seek those individuals, stick with it, have some fun and play golf.
