The 0317 T is the third and final addition to the 0317 irons lineup from PXG, joining the 0317 CB and 0317 ST.
The new 0317 T irons are the most forgiving of the trio, and are the only hollow-bodied, polymer-filled option of the three. The irons are forged from 8620 soft carbon steel, and compared to the CB and ST models, favor a little more forgiveness in exchange for some workability.
PXG’s S COR Polymer Core
PXG’s new S COR polymer core behind the club face reduces how much the face flexes at impact. The result is higher spin rates and lower launch. This new core, and the performance it creates, is primarily responsible for the T iron moving to PXG’s better player lineup, and out of the flagship line.
Perimeter Weighting
Boosing forgiveness in the 0317T is a 15-gram tungsten weight in the toe, behind the club face. The weight also helps optimize the iron’s center of gravity.
Additional Features
In addition to a new core and tungsten weighting in the toe, the 0317T irons feature:
- PXG’s adjustable rear weighting system to optimize swing weight
- Precision-milled grooves optimized to the USGA limits
- Option of Chrome and Xtreme Dark finish
“For a person with solid ball-striking, you can do pretty much anything you want with these clubs, you’re in charge,” said PXG LPGA professional Ellinor Sudow in a release. “You control the flight, and the shape of how your ball is moving.”

When building your order online, you can customize all of these specs. Lofts can be strengthened weakened either 1 or two degrees, lie can be 1 or 2 degrees flat or upright, and you can customize the length in quarter-inch increments up to one inch in either direction.
You also have plenty of shaft options. The stock regular flex shaft is the True Temper Elevate MP 95g, but no matter which shaft flex you prefer, you have 5-10 shaft options. Some of those cost extra, some don’t.
If you already know your exact specs, it’s easy to order the 0317T irons online through PXG, but if you don’t, it’s essential to get fit first. At $170 per club, or about $1,200 for a 4-W set, and with so many customizable specs, it would be silly to try to guess your ideal specs without a fitting.
