The Men's and Women's Individual Olympic golf title was contested in both the 1900 Paris games, the 1904 St. Louis games, and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro games. It is scheduled to return in the 2020 Tokyo games. A unique team event was also held at the 1904 St. Louis games.
