    Mizuno Driver Review

The pandemic didn't stop industry leaders from unveiling the latest and greatest in the world of golf equipment at the annual PGA Merchandise Show. The global trade show, usually held in Orlando, Florida, was virtual this year, but some of its most impressive products will offer real-world results for golfers. Here's a roundup of seven new products from this week.

Mizuno ST Line of Drivers and Metal Woods

Mizuno Golf is known primarily for their irons, but their woods lineup has been improving each year. PGA Tour player Keith Mitchell won in 2019 with a Mizuno driver in the bag - the first Mizuno driver to win on the Tour in roughly 15 years.

Per Mizuno:

"The new ST-Z and ST-X further deploy Mizuno’s new Forged SAT2041 Beta Ti face and complex carbon construction to deliver both potent ball speeds and a dense, satisfying sensation at impact.

With 17% more tensile strength and 8% more flexibility than traditional 6-4Ti, SAT2041 has a fine grain structure inherently resistant to fatigue. As a high strength Beta Ti, SAT2041 maintains its characteristics and resists micro fractures for longer than the commonly used 6-4, Alpha Beta Ti."

That’s a lot of numbers, but there’s one you should really care about: 326. That was the average driving distance by Keith Mitchell at the 2021 Sony Open. There’s a lot of buzz around this latest Mizuno offering, and it’s priced nicely. You can read GolfLink's full review here.
