Ping to Add Smart Sensors to Club

Credit: Arccos

Leading club manufacturer Ping has announced the addition of smart sensors by Arccos to their clubs. The sensors are available through custom orders and work with the Arccos Caddie phone app. The sensors, fitted snugly at the top of the grip, track your distance and accuracy through the Arccos Caddie. The app also allows contains course information for thousands of courses and provides a statistical breakdown of your game automatically, including your distance with each club, accuracy, swing speed, etc. By upgrading through Ping, players get a free 90-day trial of the Arccos Caddie app, though a full set of club with sensors is needed for accuracy. After the 90-day trial ends, however, the app requires a yearly subscription for $99.99 in order to continue using the app. While this may be off-putting to many, the truth is that Arccos remains the leader in automatically tracking your game through smart sensors and provide a currently unparalleled level of analysis and help to your golf game. For serious golfers or those who travel to play, the course information and analytics provided will help any golfer hone their game.
