2020 U.S. Open: Full Results and Payout

By Ryan Watson

The 2020 U.S. Open is best known for being both the largest purse in professional golf at $12.5 million and the most difficult event of the year. The tournament flexed its muscle early and often at Winged Foot Golf Club, with punishing conditions that left most of the field frustrated. In fact, throughout the 4 days of golf only 1 competitor seemed able to cope with the course: Bryson DeChambeau. The analytical golfer that has been known to divide opinion played brilliantly to claim his first major championship win. While much has been made of DeChambeau's beefed up physique, he showed a completely rounded game on the way to his 6 stroke win. The fact that he was the only golfer to break par should speak for itself. The following is the full payout of the 2020 U.S. Open.
