2020 U.S. Open: Full Field

By Ryan Watson

The 2020 U.S. Open Championship kicks off September 17-20 as the first major championship of the new PGA Tour season. The event is known for its expansive system of local, state, and regional qualifiers that give any golfer a chance at qualifying for the USGA's showpiece event. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic that system of qualifying was shuttered. In its place, the USGA has expanded its list of automatic qualifiers to produce a large field that mirrors a typical U.S. Open.
