One of the best courses in West Virginia. Layout is great: lots of bunkers, elevation changes, length and interesting holes. Very good conditions. The course has hosted many West Virginia tournaments and appeals to the elite player as well as the beginner. Highly recommended.

Not a bad course. The greens were very nice, fast and consistent. The overal conditioning, greens aside, was marginal to good, but nowhere near worth the money asked of the members. At best, this would be a mid-range public course in the sandhills area of NC. But, for WV, this is a very, very good golf course, probably as good as it gets in the Hunt-Charls area, Sugarwood aside. Membership and staff were very hospitable
