The 18-hole "Pheasant Hills" course at the Pheasant Hills Golf Course facility in Hammond, Wisconsin features 7,000 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Pheasant Hills golf course opened in 2004.
A beautiful, extremely well maintained golf course that is surrounded by farm land. From the tee boxes to the greens, this course is exceptional. Very wide and lush fairways that are a joy to hit from. The rough can be difficult to hit out of, but with the width of the fairways, if you find the rough, you deserve what you get. The greens are fantastic and HUGE, very fast when I played. You need to approach them with high shots, if you try to run your ball on, it stands a good chance of running off. Only 4 sets of tees, it will play long for some, but the course is very playable. The price to play is OUTSTANDING, and the best value for a round I have ever experienced. This course is on par with some of the best Vegas, Myrtle Beach and other golf destinations have to offer. A must play for anyone visiting or coming from the twin cities. All they need is a separate pro shop and a better 19th hole and they would be world class. I can't wait to play it again.
