Oak Ridge Golf Course, Milton, WI

Easily one of the worst courses i've ever played. First, overpriced. You can get 18 with a cart down the street at Riverside or Glen Erin on Golfnow for around $20. You'll pay double at Oak Ridge unless you go on $5 Fridays (walking rate). Obviously, this rate attracts terrible golfers with no etiquette. Second, the course itself is a dump. The Greens are elevated trampolines that do not reward good shots. I for the life of me cannot believe people actually play this course more than once. It 0 fun unless you enjoy hitting quality iron shots that land on the green and roll off, leaving a chip shot to a green that is 4 feet above you! The actual course itself is maintained very very poorly. You can barely tell the difference between fairways/rough. The fairways really aren't fairways at all, more like mown grass. And it appears that rain is the only form of irrigation. Simple, this is an overpriced COW PASTURE. The pins are changed like once a week, the holes are cut poorly, and sometimes the actual hole itself isn't down far enough in the ground. Gotta love hitting a put dead center and having it hit the back of the cup and pop out! Gotta spend money to make money. Which is why Oak Ridge is (I imagine) struggling. Even fertilizer to kill the weeds in the fairways would be a great start. It's such a crappy course. I would recommend Bonny Meade across the street. Still run by the same incompetent people that run Joke Ridge, but Bonny is much more playable and I find the course enjoyable.
