In a word....WOW. I'm from New Jersey and played this course while on vacation. How this course doesn't get more reviews and great ones at that is beyond me. Where to begin. Well the maintainance on this course is great, but probably it's least overwhelming attribute. The scenery on the other hand is spectacular with the tall grass and water surrounding many of the holes. This makes for many challenging unique holes I've never experienced before, not to mention the extremely windy conditions which apparently frequent the course. In my opinion, this just adds to the appeal, although makes your round a lot tougher. The value, well I'm not sure what we exactly paid, but I do know for sure whatever it was wasn't outrageous and a far far better value than I'm use to finding back home. They have logo balls for the logo ball lover like myself, just another plus. I'll probably never play this course again just because of the 1500 mile seperation I have, but if you have the chance or live close by it is a MUST PLAY. I've probably rated 100 or so courses and can't remember if I've given one an A+ rating, but my overall rating for this course is an A+. What a gem.

Friendly staff, decent tees and fairways, good greens. One of the best values in Madison.
