One very important thing to know/remember about Peninsula Golf Course is that it is a non-profit course. When you first see the course you might not believe that because of how incredible the course looks and functions. The scenary is amazing and must be seen for itself. Limestone bluffs, maple trees, redwood trees, and the crisp blue Bay can be seen throughout the course. They also create a good amount of privacy between holes.

The newly renevated club house has brand-new bathrooms, updated proshop, and a small restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The course also has assitant's who monitor the course, manage the time flow, provide information about holes, and provide transportation up & down some of the inclines for those who walk. All of this is provided at no-extra cost.

The driving range provides a great amount of golf balls for a low price compared to other courses in Door County. An automatic golf ball dispensing machine (with $1 & $5 acceptor) is onsite for when an attendant may not be present/available.

The course does not provide a beverage cart or alcohol due to Wisconsin State Law that prohibits alcohol sales in a state park, and also due to Ephraim being a "dry area." Beverage machines are located throughout the 18 hole course.

Overall, this golf course is an excellent course to experience. The great thing about the course is that it is located right inside of Peninsula State Park. So when you are finished golfing take a stroll inside the park and enjoy the many sites, lookout areas, and scenic attractions that are available. Every golfer should experience this course and the surrounding area.

Fall colors are breathtaking, scenic water overlooks into the bay. This year there were many wild turkeys. Lots of hills and hole 8 is fun. Clubhouse closes early, no beer cart service. Driving range is nowhere near the first tee. Slightly pricey for a state park. Despite meager ammenities, would definitely play again.
