I played this "Dye" course for the first time today. I was not disappointed. The layout was challening, course overall was in great shape and the club house staff was very professional. I wish the greens were a bit quicker... it was rock hard, but it was slow in my mind. It certinaly had Pete Dye like characteristics and some holes were spectacular.. An excellent value overall.

great course, thrilled to hear of the new ownership group, maybe they will spend for watering this jem. Was told they will not pick-up a single player with the free shuttle from the ferry dock, though no where do they specify that, not happy with there "hidden rules"

Course is falling in quality. We played in middle of July and fairways were thin, and the rough was brown in many spots. Greens were rock hard, but slow, which is a strange combination. When on the ferry someone asked us if it were true that the golf course was in financial trouble. Wasn't sure, but seems that they are skimping a bit on water. Would play again at twilight rates, but not primetime weekend.

Played a late morning round on a Friday, early July. One word comes to mind for this course: sand. The course is littered with sand traps, which makes it challenging. I didn't mind it so much because it definately gives you an opportunity to practice these shots we rarely practice. The fairways and greens were in great shape. Accuracy on this course is key. There is no dedicated snack shop at this course, which was disappointing. The price was right on this course, however. If traveling on the ferry to get to the course, they provide shuttle service from/to the ferry dock.

Very punitive course! So much sand! Get a cart because the distance between holes is ridiculously long.

This has to be the best new golf course in Washington state in a long time. Perfect for someone staying at the Clearwater Hotel Casino. All I can say is "WOW". What a great golf course. Hate to say it but I wouldn't doubt that when more homes are built and sold this course could be heading for Country Club.

Great new course across the water. Great layout with big fairways and tons (137) of traps. Very difficult with focus on shot making. Clubhouse is temporary right now but once built this will be one of the premier courses in the state. $60 on weekends is a great value.
