This is a lovely course, that has been well designed to take full advantage of its lovely setting. The course is thoughtfully laid out to make the most of the dense forest, and rich vegetation all around it. We played on a week-end, when other courses would have been crowded, and it would have felt that way. Not this course, it felt like we had it all to ourselves. What a joy!

I just played this golf course for the first time over the weekend. It was amazing. I have only played a dozen courses, but this was one of my favorites. I'll definitely return to play many more times.

The starter did a nice job of spacing our the groups, so we rarely saw the group in front of us, or behind us, which made it very relaxing.

I thought the par fours played long and the par threes played short, which is a tough combo, as par 3s generally are the hardest holes to par. Even though I hit good drives on many par 4s, my approach shots were sometimes still 200+ yards away.

The conditions of the course were great. Very few divots off the tee boxes or the fairways. There were very few drainage issues. The greens were in good shape and a little on the fast side. The fairways were not tight, but not extremely forgiving either. The foliage off the first cut is sometimes thick and makes ball recovery challenging, even with some decent drives.

My favorite hole was #9. It's a par 4 that requires you to carry a large pond to the green. The Suncadia Inn is off in the distance with a stream that runs down the hill into the pond. The setting is perfect. The next whole, #10, is the signature hole is was probably my 2nd favorite.

Overall, this was my most enjoyable golf experience to date. I highly recommend it and think that it is well worth the price.

Enjoyable course with beautiful scenery, but it comes at a price. Not overly difficult with ample risk/reward opportunities. Friendly staff.
