Great value! One of the most fun courses to play in the area. You can pull driver on 1 or 2 holes but you really don't need it. Staff was great and course maintenance was good. Several holes are scenic and tricky including their signature hole overlooking the river. Would recommend to all!

Course was in very bad shape, but the price was very cheap. Guess you get what you pay for with this course

Second time playing this course and what a difference in score when you gain some experience. The fairways are pretty narrow so for the controlled challenged carry enough balls. driver not really necessary on this course. Very friendly staff from pro-shop, starter (two complimentary balls issued) to marshall. Value good, during the week..not sure what the weekend rates are. View is scenic on the 10th hole, great shot of a bridge. Greens are mediocre and could do with better maintenence (Enterprise GC in MD should be the benchmark on maintained greens)however they are lightning fast. Overall good course to play on.

I found it a great course for the money, played in just over 4 hours. good pace. super friendly staff!

Very narrow. Club selection is crucial! Very windy usually because of being on the river. Did I mention it's NARROW! Not a long course, not a wide course. Difficult in that manner, but not in length. NO DRIVING RANGE. Course was in B-B+ condition.

What everyone says is pretty much true. Narrow course, slow play, bugs on the first 4 holes/last two. But it is a very pretty course. If you can't hit irons, you will lose balls (even the two the starter gives you.) Great deal for the play.

4 hours for 15 holes... that on a Friday morning. No need for the back up either. If we had stayed we would have been there longer than any course we have ever been on. NOT worth it. People were backed up everywhere and with a marshall.

This is a course that is not only wonderful to play but employs friendly and helpful staff.

Played it for the first time and you have to like a place that tells you up front that there is no refund or rain check because of the seasonal black fly invasion. And do they mean it! The little buggers are something! First four holes and last three are tough because of them. No range, but nice putting area. Leave driver in bag, need to make shots here! Nice little snack bar, great egg salad sandwich and a very good crabcake in the grill room. Lots of great sights over the water or wetlands. Would play here again and will recommend to friends. Great staff, was meet in parking lot with cart and helpful advice, director of golf was on course making sure everything was going well, actually moved a group ahead to open up some holes.

Played the course for the first time this last weekend and was very impressed, though it is one of the narrowest courses I have ever played. For many of the holes it was either fairway or lost ball. Very attractive layout. Some of the views are beautiful (from 9 and 10 especially). It was only 30 odd degrees out when I was there, so pace of play wasn't an issue. Staff were all friendly.

Very nice course for the $$. Usually in good shape, though the greens can be a bit shaggy at times. Leave the driver in the car as you'll only be able to use it once or twice. Great place to go to work on iron play. You will lose balls if you can't make shots though.
Expect pace to slow down on the back nine - lots of par 3s on the back and the snack shack between 12 and 13 always seems to create a backup. Overall one of the better value's around.

For the price of 29 bucks(twilight) the course is pretty good. It is a challenging course and one does loose quite a few balls here...It can be frustrating sometimes though. The recent rains have certianly helped the course.

course is dried out and thw service is horrible in the club house. I would rather play a dollar course than Ospreys. The Osprey produces better dung than they produce a course.

great play

This is a shotmaker's course, I don't use driver but 2/3 times- but it's still a very challenging layout- forced carries on majority of holes. It's actualy considered by local area golfers to be one of the most difficult courses in the area, beginner's plan to bring an armada of balls! The scenery on the back 9 is unmatched, between the elevation changes, historic railroad bridge, and river views- a must see. Only gripe is no driving range, and there is no "turn" after 9.

Crazy elevations

This course has alot of elevation changes. I was playing from the tips, and was still not able to use my driver on alot of the holes. There are alot of blind turns. This is a pretty frustrating course, but pretty good.
