Beautiful as they come, but in need of much maintenence. Fairways are fine, greens average, but very rough elsewhere. No wonder in stead of the rack rate of $89 during the week, with coupon its only $39, and included a sleeve of ProV1s!

Course is in horrendous condition and pace of play was in excess of 6 hours. No marshalls. Think of a municipal course that anyone can play and then charges a lot. I had the same experience 6 years ago and had hoped things had changed. They hadn't.....

Loved Stonehouse. From the warm greeting the starter gives you to the feeling of accomplishment you get when you walk off the 18th, it was a great day. The course changes hole by hole but it progresses naturally and truly utilizes the topography expertly. There are houses on the back nine but they are only obtrusive on a couple of holes. Some of the greens are huge so selecting the right club is key on approaches and the Par Threes. If you play from the tips, bring your A game and a long drive otherwise it will be a very long day. I definitely will play here again as soon as I can.

I loved this course! I had as much fun on this course as any I've ever played. Huge fairways give you the idea that the course doesn't have any bite, but the greens are very fast and big as well. The elevation changes make this course a wild ride. Up, down and big doglegs make this a course that you'll remember. I can only recall one so-so hole. A word of advice, get the yardage book otherwise on more than a few holes you'll be left scratching your head. The distance betwen holes gives the golfers a feel of being the only people on the course and the scenery between holes is terrific. I agree the par 3's on the back are as tough and pretty as any you'll find. Oh yea, the staff is top notch too. If I lived in the area I would be a member. Enjoy!

Beautiful Course

This is an outstanding golf course with great variety and wonderful scenery. The par 3's on the back nine are as good as it gets
