We have been playing there for the last 11 years ( 12-16 players@ all levels), great course and you can't beat the price. For first timers take a good look at the course on line, it is tricky but it can reward you , keep the ball in play!! We enjoy all the rounds that we play- 36 a day. The southern hospitality is like no other , Breck Johnson is the best, the office staff is very friendly and willing to work with you in any case. The scenery is one that golfers and non golfers will enjoy!!

The views on this course can't be beat. The facility is well maintained, but seems to have a large gnat swarm hovering over it. A good challenge with a wide variety of holes. Watch out for Number 1, it may be the toughest opening hole you have seen in awhile.

nice course, the sloping fairways in the landing area on a couple of holes hurt you even with nice tee shot, nice view of the mtns., and river, watch out for the deer on back nine,no yd. markers in fairways,100,150 200 painted on cart path, need location flags, very hard to tell if holes front, middle,or back due to the very large greens makes a difference on club selection due to large greens,a little pricey, but it is worth your time to play this course.

Nice views, reasonably well maintained course. Some holes seemed a little unfair -- long straight show lands in middle of fairway and rolls deep into woods due to pitch of fairway. Newcomer to course needs better information about such holes. Watch out for the occassional cavern!
