Lake Gaston Golf Club, Gasburg, VA

My buddies and I play this course every year. This is a great course if your looking to get out for a quiet afternoon, not drop a lot of money, and not expect Pebble Beach. The times we've played the t-boxes were pretty shabby, the fairways OK, and the greens were great. They are very slow and true, but no ball marks, and very lush. The beauty of Gaston is that hardly anyone is ever out there, beers are cheap, and the course challenging for the avg golfer. Moral of this story is, don't expect a $100 course for $29.00. It's well worth the money.
