Under new management in June 2016. Please come and try us again. The fairways have been changed to Bermuda grass, the weeds trimmed down, and it now looks as it was intended -- a beautiful links style course. We are improving it daily. Fresh sand has been installed in many of the greenside bunkers, and the superintendent is bringing this course back to life!

This place is a dog track for $80. We pushed our cart, the bunker were weedy, tee boxes are alright, green were in horrible shape. This is a $50 course at best, I will not be back and highly recommend other course within 20 minute drive.

Very challenging but enjoyable. The fairways and greens were in good shape and the crew removed the leaves from the fairways. Value was good during the week but the course was full. Difficult for my wife whose a 20+ but with the lay out, maintenance, and scenic views you just smile and shake your head. Would recommend.

What a GEM of a place to play Golf ! Outstanding layout and tough off the tee

My group played this course last on a four day golf outting. This was far and above the nicest course we played in the area. The fairways were like carpets and the greens were the best I've played in over a year. All the courses I've played this year have had trouble with the greens due to the weather, but this course has it figured out. The greens were fast and true. The layout is spectacular !! The holes are tough for first timers, but fair. Bring your long and straight game with you as there are many ravines to hit across. You need to decide on how much you want to bite off on the tee shots. I cannot say enough how nice this course is. I hope I get another chance to play it again. Knowing this course will definitely improve my score.

This course is not for beginners. The tee shots alone are very demanding and long. Lots of hazards right off the tee. Like everyone else said. Bring lots of balls.

Great course. Nicely maintained; however, some wet areas from morning watering.

You better bring your A game for most tee shots. Lots of carry over natural/wetlands. You will lose a ball or two. Don't be fooled by the greens - play your putts straight to the holes and prepare for the break about 8 to 12 inches towards the cup. Par 3s not long but tough.

HARD Course. If you get a chance, ride the course first, then play. Try and play with someone who has plaid the course before. Bring extra balls, and a pocket full of bills. This course is going to cost you. Bring your A Game, its a course that makes you use EVERY club in your bag.

Absolutely loved the track. Would recommend to anyone! Suggestion, play the correct tees. There are many tee shots that require significant carry.

What a joy to play this course! This is a course that you could play every day of your life and never grow tired of. I played from the back tees, and it was extremely challenging, but completely fair. You are rewarded for good shots and severely punished for bad shots. Great greens. Great staff.

If you live within 2 hours of this course, it is worth the trip without question. I can't wait to go back.

Really enjoyed the course and the staff went out of there way to help us. planning to play this course again. Two of the tee boxes appeared to be new sod and the course had alot of elevation changes.

This course is the best course I have ever seen and had the pleasure to play in Virginia. It reminds me of the beautiful course at Royal New Kent, but is more open obviously. They were the finest and truliest running greens to putt. The stint was measured at 12. WOW. But they rolled exceptionally true. If the putt was on line and true, you made it. The cups were cut clean and true. The traps were all glorious white and played fairly. I could truly play this course for the rest of my life. It has tee distances for all handicaps. From 7000+ to 5700+ yard layout. Dave if you are reading this next time I'll make sure that you are the 4th player, But you still owe me a round.

Great test.

Played Friday August 15, 2008. Course was very wet and appears having some turf issues. Greens were fast but patchy. Course has numerous blind shots which on first time around becomes frustrating. Course maps would be helpful

Course is in great shape. The range needs some work, especially the range balls...really beat up. A lot of fun, one of the better courses in the area.

PERFECT!!! This course is in phenomanal condition. The lay out is amazing...a little tough, get a yardage book, The clubhouse is looking good... full of everything from a bar to a banquet room. The cart boy met me in the parking lot to pick up my bag so I do not know why ppl were not allowed to take their carts in the parking lot previously. All in all it is a must play as much as possible course!
