This is a great, fun place to get up on the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoy life. It's breezy and cooler than in the valley. The views are of the Southwest Mountains on one side and the Shenandoah Valley on the other. The golf conditions are rough around the edges, but honest. It is a real gem of a place that has not changed much in a number of years but, in my opinion, doesn't need to. If you're looking for a pristine round of manicured golf, there are a number of other great places around the area that you would probably like better. If you want to play in a place that is part and parcel of the Blue Ridge, come here and enjoy some time looking for your ball in among the warm pine needles and blueberry bushes.

My decision to play this course was between this and Old Trail. The people I went with decided on this to save a little bit of money. $35 later I would have gladly paid the additional $25 to play a course with actual tee boxes. This course has about as much grass downtown Baghdad and the tee boxes are mounds of grass with no flat spot. Every par four is driver, SW if that and the par 5s are an easy driver, 5I in. I suppose if you are looking to burn $35 and see the "other" side of the quality spectrum this is your course.

It took a while to get use to it, but now one of my favorite courses to play. Relaxed atmosphere, to put it mildly. "shirts must be worn in the clubhouse" - gotta love it. Leave your driver in the bag on the short par fours, unless you want to battle the rattlesnakes for your ball in the woods.

an old course for the player that truly loves the game of golf. the greens are patchy and the grass is long, but the views and course layout are spectacular one of the most challenging courses i've played.

the course is a joke, the greens are cut once a week if that. The pro shop(I think thats what they called it) had golf balls for sale that came out of cheap discount store.Never confuse this joke with anything more then just that. There was a gentleman dress in a 40 year old sports coats saying he was the PRO so I ask him when he was going to mow the greens he said not for a couple of days, he didn't want the greens to die. Well here is a news flash they are already DEAD.If you need a good laugh play this goat track

An old fashioned course with a run down, cash only golf shop. The location is spectacular and trumps its weaknesses. Its a very fair and reasonable course for the average player. I didn't find the fairways too narrow and I'm an 18 handicapper. Not fancy; not impeccable greens or fairways; but a delight to play.

There are no restroom facilities except at the club house. The course has a wonderful view. The course is very narrow so keep your shots straight or you will be taking out other players.
