9 hole regulation length course
36 par | 3,529 yards
The 9-hole "Sunrise" course at the Stonebridge Golf Club At Lake Park facility in West Valley City, Utah features 3,529 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36.Designed by Johnny Miller/Gene Bates, the Sunrise golf course opened in 1999.
Course in great shape. Very challenging. Sunrise course is easiest of the 3, Creekside course has water, water everywhere! Under the airport approach. Doesn't bug me, but could be bothersome for some.4/5
All of Stonebridge's 3 nines are challenging, my only gripe is course maintenance, but perhaps that is worth it to keep the cost/value where it is. The first hole is where this 9 gets it's name as you tee off east into the rising sun. The toughest holes on the course for me are 8 and 9, 8 because it's so long with trouble down the right and 9 because you tee off with water on the left and only the bravest don't lay up as the green is fronted by some major water.
