Sand Hollow Resort, Hurricane, UT

I should say this course is bad to deter others from coming! But, I'll be honest! This was on my bucket list of courses for a few years now and played 2 days ago. Unbelievable! Course was in perfect condition, the views, the vibe, the quietness was spectacular!! (only downside was 4some in front of us who thought they could hit 380 yards on every shot and was holding everyone up)

Where do I start??? This is one of those courses that you tend to dream about. I played in Sept '12 and while it was still hot the course was just in perfect shape. The maintenance that this course gets is truly second to none. The staff and clubhouse are all terrific.
When you play here you must bring a camera for those days that you just find yourself daydreaming about this course. The red rock that is so prevalent in SW Utah is all around you and makes for a beautiful backdrop to some amazing golf. GPS in the carts are a welcome amenity on this course.
I really cant suggest one thing to improve on, you must play this course when you're nearby. I jumped on the Sand Hollow Links course after my round and that was a great 9 hole course in itself.

Excellent course and well worth a visit if you are anywhere in the area. The holes on the back nine that run along the cliff are simply stunning... right out of a golf calendar. Front 9 is much flatter and with a bit more of a standard layout, but still very enjoyable. Course maintenance is excellent and the quality of the turf was among the best I've ever seen anywhere. As a previous reviewer said I felt guilty taking a divot from the fairways. The warm-up area is very nice, but the clubhouse facilities are just a temporary trailer at this point... I'm sure that will change over time as the area is developed. The desert is in play although the fairways are quite wide and most greens are huge so there's plenty of room to work with.

Stunning! The find of my two-week trip to Mesquite-St. George. Tough but fair, and the views are astonishing. The course's Web site doesn't do this course justice. Play it. Just fantastic. Can't say enough about it. Will play it again and again.

This is my new favorite golf course in Southern Utah. Great layout with wide fairways and large bunkers. The greens are large and very smooth. Offers great challenge with nice playability. The course was in near perfect condition.

Way overrated the traps are big but have no sand in them. It is like hitting out of concrete. There are 4 nice holes on the course but the rest aveage. A lot nicer courses in the St. George area! Play Coral Canyon instead! Better bang for your buck.
