I recently joined this club for the many amenities/family activities and ample golf. Since joining last month I have played on both the Whitworth and the Hogan a total of 8 times. This is up from my 3 rounds a month prior to joining. Both courses are exceptionally cared for with meticulous attention to detail. I would like to see some beautification of the tee boxes (i.e. flowers, annual color). The service has proven to be impeccable with a specific attention to detail one would come to expect from a private club. I'm always greeted by name upon arrival and my clubs/shoes are always clean and ready for play. While it's the golf that I love, my wife and children enjoy the social aspect the club offers. The Club employs a social and activities director who is phenomenal at continually organizing new and engaging events for the whole family. All in all I have found this club to offer a great value.

Within our first 25 minutes on the putting green yesterday, my 10-year old son heard the F*bomb used along with the words, s*** and c***. Sadly, these words were used by three different members of the club who were well aware that a young boy was near them. I reported the incident to the gentleman in the Pro Shop. The gentleman did not seemed to be overly concerned about this type of behavior taking place by members but did say he would report the situation to the Head Pro.

I can't say enough about this club. What a tremendous value. I have enjoyed every moment spent playing golf here since I joined 3 years ago. This place is like a second home to me. "Golfer's Paradise". Two amazing courses that, if ClubCorp was REALLY on the ball, could easily make this the best club in the metroplex. They need to pump about 100K into the landscaping around the tee boxes and then it would be perfect. They just don't spend enough on flowers etc... Otherwise, it's perfect!

Just joined and have played a few times. I like the Hogan course, but the Hills course is also fun - even on temp greens for now.

If you are thiking of joining, do it sooner rather than later as they are about to raise the rates a bit. Tell them Mike Montgomery sent you.

The Hills is probably a little easier, but difficult to tell until the new greens are open.

The Hogan is not the most difficult course around, hit has its holes that can be tough, but putting really takes some effort. The greens are fast a little hard to read and if you are not below the hole, be very careful or you will end up way past the hole for your comeback putt. The rough is really tough here and the reason I have not scored well. Fairways are not tough to hit if you are pretty straight, or do not hit it left when you play your fade. This course has lots of reall good driving holes where you can open her up and let her rip.

I really do like this course and am looking forward to many years of playing it.

Course is still in good shape, bunkers could use more sand here and there, but the greens are still fast and very receptive to your approach shots. After playing here for a year now, I can say it is not all that difficult of a course comparitively. It is still a good challenge and in great shape. Service is really outstanding and getting better as time rolls on. I love this course being so close to me and I play about 4 rounds a week on it, unless I am resting a week. I love to walk the 9's and rarely do I even see someone else there when I am out during the week much less impacted by their play.

I did rate it down just a little more than where I had it, mainly because of the bunkers needing work and the lack of impressive scenery. This is a working man's country club and the perfect place to work on your game. Value is huge if you are a member and use the club.

Guest rates are a little high - actually a lot high.
