Forest Creek Golf Club, Round Rock, TX

What a great public course! It is a well kept and fun layout. The greens are consistently in great shape as well as the fairways, tee boxes, practice range, ect. I play here once a month and wish it was more. The best course in the area in my opinion.

When I want a really great round of golf I play Forest Greek. This course is challenging and well maintained. If I shoot a decent score out here I really feel like I earned it. There are a lot of thinking holes and if you're like me I hit driver less frequently to get into good position. Really a fun layout. They have nice practice areas, long and short game. Staff was super cool and cart girls were on top of their game. Great overall value compared to other choices in the area, I recommend.

One of the best in the area. Tough course with lots of risk reward. Cool layout, a must play for the serious golfer.

This course was great. The course was in almost perfect condition, greens were running well, fairways were cut well. Just a good day of golf. I will be coming here again soon.

I am surprised that this course is reviewed so highly. This is total goofy golf on almost every hole. Rarely can you play a course with so many bad holes and so few good ones, but Forest Creek manages to deliver. I'm not the longest hitter around, but playing from the 6500 blue tees I had to lay up on nearly every hole because they were just one contrived, jammed in, dogleg after another. I mean....there is a horseshoe shaped hole on this course; it does not get any goofier than that. I have played around 40 courses in the Austin area and I would rate this #39, behind only Hidden Falls.

Great practice facilities! Fun outing not to hard.
