This is a very good course for all skill levels. In this flat part of the state, there are plenty of interesting changes in elevation. Overall, the course is rather pleasing to the eye, and fun to play. I have played over 15 rounds here, and I'm still not bored. The staff is great, and the course is very well maintained. Practice facilities are solid, but the clubhouse is subpar. Only bad feature is there is a transfer station which backs up to holes 11 & 12. Sometime you get catch a few wiffs of garbage, but it's not overbearing. This course is definitely worth checking out.

Ridgeview Ranch is a fine golf course with one exception.
For these prices, GPS should be on every cart. The course is not well marked with yardage indicators, making it doubly dificult to get correct yardage.

I too have played Ridgeview Ranch. The green fees seem to be OK but forcing the cart fee of $34.00 per cart is a little high. The service is weak, and the range balls have far outlived their life by a few years. To be fair the course is OK, but not a course that justifies waiting on every tee box. I think as others they fill the course as tight as they can, and forget about the golfers. It appears the management has a contract with the city that runs several years before the City sees a nickle. They are in about the fourth hands of the passing the hot potato. Many other courses serve the area that chage less, offer more.

I recently played this course for the first time while visting DFW. Yes, on weekends it does get a little crowded especially with the weather be nice. Thought the course was nice. My only complaint is that of all the construction going on around the course. You set-up for your shot and then "BANG, BANG, BANG!!!" Otherwise, it was a good experience.

I loved the layout of the course, i did play a weekend as well and it was very crowded but a great experience.

Can't beat $19 with card on a Friday afternoon. I agree with CPlains, they stack too many players into one box. I can't enjoy the game if I have to keep looking over my back to see that the group behind us is waiting for us.

I like it

I like this course. It is usually in pretty good shape, staff is great, and play moves quickly. I never play on weekends, so I can't speak to that.

It's a shame!

What a poorly run course, the stack too many groups into 1 box....3 hours for 9 holes on a Saturday pm...what a joke, I will never play here again...
