The course looked great however I'll never know. I purchased a tee time online and the lady in the pro shop refused to honor my emailed receipt on my phone and also refused a phone request from golf18network to accept a faxed receipt. With courtesy like that, they must have all the business they will ever need because they'll never see a dime of my money.

This is a great little course for the money! It's under new management and groomed very nice. Course was in tip top shape. Every tee shot looks fun and really tests your skills.

Nice country course for the money. Obviously finallybreaking80 has a personal problem to only give this course one and a half stars.

I have played this course numerous times. The shape of the course depends on who is running the course at the time. I have seen this course in top shape and on the flip side, have seen it terrible. Narrow fairways, lined with heavily wooded tree lines on both sides make accuracy a must. Other than that, it is not too difficult. Whether beginner or seasoned player of the game, this course is worth the stop in if you are in the area.

Played 6/08. Nice scenery and some real elevation changes. There's a premium on accuracy on most holes. Fairways could use some watering. Friendly staff. I'm still wondering what possessed someone to put a golf course out in the middle of nowhere. Bring a cooler--no beverage cart.

Nice Country Diversion

My wife and I were looking for a friendly course close to home. We found this course to be beautiful with native East Texas scenery all around. Not very wide open so accuracy is required, rolling hills and quite a bit of water with very little bunkering. The greens are slightly undulated and fast. Warm country staff and very friendly people overall on the course, far from city golf. Very laid back and an inexpensive value close to home for us.
