The 18-hole "Eagle Pointe" course at the Eagle Pointe Golf Club facility in Mont Belvieu, Texas features 6,893 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.2 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Rick Forester, the Eagle Pointe golf course opened in 1999. Scott Olsen manages the course as the Director of Golf.

This is my go to course. It's by far in my opinion the top Muni course in the greater Houston area. Maintenance is superb, the course is very challenging, and it is extremely cheap for the quality of course you play on. I can't believe this isn't a $75 weekend course. I hate to say it and bring a bunch of traffic but if you are anywhere in the Houston area, play this course. You will not be disappointed.

The trees and rolling terrain is something you wouldn't expect in the Mont Belview area, but this course is a scenic gem. The course is always in excellent condition when I have played. If you figure out the best way to play hole #16, please post. Green fees are very reasonable for a course of this quality.
