The 18-hole "Tournament Course" at the Golf Club of Houston facility in Humble, Texas features 7,422 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Rees Jones, ASGCA, the Tournament Course opened in 2005.
Played it week after Shell Houston Open from Championship tee (6900 yards) and it is tough, a lot of forced carry over hazards, but overall not as tough as Eagle Pointe, as fairway is pretty flat, so anywhere out there, would be playable. But approach to the green has to be pin point. It's very undulated, hard and fast as expected for PGA tournament course, and very well protected by water, and bunkers. Excellent shape, the tee boxes, fairways and greens are manicured, 5 out of 5 in terms maintenance and condition.
