Last winter I purchased a awesome promotional greens fee for my husband and son-in-law here at Trails of Frisco. At the time we purchased the 10 rounds of golf for $100 each we discussed whether they could walk the course or not. We were told that walking was fine. This past week when we were in town, they went to play one afternoon and were both charged a mandatory cart fee. Our special deal turns out to be more expensive than regular prices available at this time. I am very disappointed in the purchase. We live in Houston and most likely would not have even been able to take full advantage of the 10 rounds on the promo.

Course in great shape. Enjoyable round with a variety of holes to test all the shots and clubs

course was in ok shape...greens in great shape. GPS units were down and being the first time playing the course it was a bad experience. W/o gps it is next to impossible to get a yardage and the course comes accross very gimicky as you have no idea there are creeks running in the middle of fairways and just around blind doglegs.

This place has deteriorated into a goat ranch since I last played it. The club house was filthly. The bunkers were unplayable. How old are those carts? They have to be five years old.

The course was in great shape, and is challenging. Blind shots, which I'm not a big fan of, make this part of the challenge. If the GPS were better, this would not be nearly as much of an issue.

Has to be the worst owner operated facility in the Dallas Metroplex, maybe the country. I could not agree more with l84ttyme's (previous reviewer) assessment of the experience. Both carts in our foursome died on us last weekend. It was horrible.

Fantastic golf course. Horrible customer experience. Too much deferred maintainence on carts and club house. The pro shop inventory is non-existent. The level and quality of service has continually declined under Lee Golf.

If you want a challenging course, this is the one for you. It will teach you how to keep it on the fairway. The rough is tall and the fairways are short. The greens are most of the time fast. The course is beautiful and is a must play. Don't worry if you can't find your ball in the rough you will probably find five others to make up for it. Lots of water on the sides so hit it srait.
