Played this course for the first time yesterday, and WOW!

First of all, if I could give six stars for maintenance on this course, I would. It was well over 100 degrees, and has been for the majority of the summer. Every green and fairway was in great shape, and the majority of the rough was well-kept also. Four different tee selections to cater to a wide range of golfers, very unique holes, and decent scenery throughout. This course is definitely a bargain if you take advantage of the online specials (we got on for $30 per person), and isn't too bad at regular rates.

Would definitely recommend for a great round of golf. I will be back.

I love this course! By far one of my favorites in the area. I first played this course in 2007 and loved it from the start. Very well designed and usually in great shape. I do agree with some previous reviews that some of the cart paths and tee boxes can be confusing near the club house, but overall this is a great piece of property.
Some of the holes require a precise tee shot with an iron or a hybrid. Gotta love a course where hole #1 lets you think you're awesome, and #2 slaps you across the face! Some of the holes and the back 9 can be demanding, but #18 is a par 5 that can give you one back and let you leave in a good mood.
Do not believe anyone who says this is not a great course! I usually find a good deal on line, and prefer this course to Fossil Creek and Tour 18.
Very nice Pro Shop and Bar area, and the Hotel on the property certainly makes you feel like your at TPC Las Colinas. Driving range is a bit bland, but balls are free with your round so I'm not complaining.

A terrible layout. Extremely slow play and bunkers that should be plowed under. Too many good courses in the area to waste your time here.

Great, friendly staff. Driving range a little primitive; actually nothing but a huge vacant field/pasture. Signage a little confusing as several holes (#1 and #10) have multiple tee boxes quite a distance apart requiring using different cart paths to access. I had to back up and travel to the other box several times since the sign took us to the forward tees. We were playing the golds (second from the back). Greens in good shape, especially considering the temperatures were over 100 degrees. Greens had less break than they appeared to have. The entire group left a lot of putts on the high side because the apparent break just didn't happen. Course was in very good condition and obviously gets a lot of attention. There were few players the day we played and the slower groups let us play through with no problem. There are a lot of out-of-towners playing here due to the adjacent hotel and the Texas Motor Speedway across the road. The views are mostly of highways and the Speedway, so it is not a scenic location, but has a rural feel despite being surrounded by homes and a hotel. The hotel/resort is only about thirty minutes from DFW Airport. Overall, a great value given the prices and amenities. Not a terribly difficult course, although a couple of holes required a long carry to reach the fairway from the back tees.

Plenty of very inexpensive tee times to be had here on Lastminutegolfer.com or Golfnow.com, with rates in the $25 dollar range if you can start a little later in the morning. For that price, a round of golf @ this course is a STEAL!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which is rare for the Fort Worth area, and the course was in excellent shape, except for two of the par 3 greens that were ugly 'cuz folks won't fix their ball marks. GGRRRR!

The course itself isn't rally daunting, although it does have callenges for golfers without a lot of experience.

The cart girl wasn't scarce, nor was she overbearing; I think she came by twice on each nine. The staff in the Clubhouse (bar & pro shop) both were helpful and seemed to not mind being at work!

The only thing missing here is GPS on the carts. But for me, that's not a "make or break" in my book - your mileage may vary. :-)

All in all, a very nice golf experience, and for $25 for the round, I felt just a little bit guilty playing there - NOT!

Treat yourself to a round, right next to Texas Motor Speedway!.

Fantastic greens this time around - unseasonably warm winter weather & recent rains really helped I think.
