Underwood offers 36 holes of golf, great food and one of the best instructors in the region. my one lesson with Bobby Kaerwer added 40 yards of distance to my nine iron and took 20 ft off my distance away from the pin during the session. I was hitting longer, straighter and more consistent. My average score went from 103 from the white tees(115 Slope) to 85 from the Blue tees(119 Slope) on the Sunset Course alone within 45 days. That lesson was in the summer of 2010. By the summer of 2012 my GHIN had stabilized at 5.0. I continue to use his methods when giving fellow golfers instruction because they were simple and effective. During the lesson I never hit another club than my 9 Iron but every club was more effective. 30 minutes were spent hitting balls and making adjustments on the range and then 20 minutes were spent looking at photos of the greatest current and former golf tour professionals in order to drive home how the finish is supposed to look. Every photo showed the final pose of an iron shot and every golfer's palm was pointed straight back into their faces and that convinced me. The fees are the absolute cheapest in the area. Their twilight rates are lower than any other course's super twilight rates and start at least 3 hours earlier. What is their bad to say about this course? Not Much!
