This could actually be a decent golf course if somebody took care of it. Some greens are shaggy, and others have big patches of dirt. You can have a bad lie in the middle of the fairway, and if if you miss the fairway by only a few feet you're likely to lose your ball because of unmowed conditions. There is some variety in the holes, but the back nine wasn't even open when I played there. Simply put, this is not an enjoyable place to play golf and not a good value, either.

This is by far the worst golf course I have ever had the displeasure of playing. Upkeep is virtually non-existent. There are two bathrooms on the course which would be convenient if they were ever open. The fairways are usually about 2 inches thick. The rough should be renamed the impossible. Sometimes the rough is covered with a thick layer of mowed grass. Greens are like hardpan. No water, no sand, no cart paths, no hole markers, no grill, no customer service, no fun - no kidding! Play golf in your back yard, or better yet in the street . . . you'll have more fun than trying to play at this incredible disappointment of a golf course.

terrible value

i should have known better when i walked into the musty smelling "clubhouse" what i was in for. but i was already there so i decided to pay the $30 weekend fee. what a ripoff. the "fairways" are an inch and a half thick. the greens are pretty much identical, small and circular. the greens are as thick as fairways should be. holes are pretty much straight away. no bunkers or water on this course. the holes aren't even marked. i started on the back nine and didn't realize it until the third hole. this place is a real goat farm. i was so disappointed i quit on the 13th hole. there are much better courses in the belton-temple-killeen area than this one. i have played just about all of them. and this was by far the worst.
