Just played here this morning. Wet chilly day. 23 bucks for AM tee time is my kinda deal. Nice course...a hidden gem. Sort of a slow pace but course was nice. greens were wet...very hard. Fairways are in decent shape.

A great value; well maintained for the price. Pretty easy golf course if you can avoid some bad misses off the tee. Pace of play is really nice -- even when the course is full of foursomes there is usually little wait between shots.

This course has become one of my favorite courses in the Austin area. The only complaint I have is the speed of play on the weekends. You are expected to finish in about 3:40 minutes. That is a little fast for me so I try to play on the weekdays and avoid the crowd.
As a rule the course is well maintianed and the staff is for the most part friendly.

This was the first Austin golf course I have ever played and for the money...it's worth playing. The overall course conditions exceeded my expectations except for a few of the fairway bunkers which were filled with "pea gravel." My round was played under four hours, but I felt there was too much time between holes. I never saw a marshal who could have let us play through a group who obviously should have let us played through due to their slow play. I will definately play this course again.

Very nice course to play. This is the very first course I ever played in Austin, and having said that, it's better than a few of the courses in the area. The staff is polite but sometimes aloof, the driving range leaves a little to be desired, and as someone else in this site observed, the pace of play is a bit over-enforced. The freens are well kept, but were a little dry and rough, but not suprising for the time of year that I first played it (mid to late august). All in all, a good beginnersz course, very wide upen set up with plenty of bail out areas for the newer golfer. If you are just learning the game, however, I'd suggest making this your second or third course, as the hurried pace will discourage and make one feel rushed, especially when you're not versed in golf ettiquite.

pace of play over-enforced, been told to pickup and move to next hole when with group of 4 (2 in front)... feels like traffic cop doing radar at every intersection. you get what you pay for however, good deals to be had on golf512.com
