My husband and I live nearby and play this course fairly frequently. It has had recent management changes. The previous and current owners are turning this course around. Scenery is beautiful, fairways in nice shape now, and greens are very nice, best greens around here. The bunkers are the downfall of this place but I think that is their next project. We love going to this course. The staff is very friendly and prices are pretty cheap.

The course is under new management and starting to upgrade the course. While the course is a long way from being up to par they have made some improvements. One of the managers, Chris, was super nice and helpful. I am told they are getting ready to over seed and fertilize the fairways. The greens were in good shape and should be great in about a month or so. I had a pleasurable round. It will take some time but I believe the course will be one of the better courses around in a year or two. Rome wasn't built in a day either. I would recommend this course to try it out. I think you'll find it improved and getting better.

Along with the golf the owners are a joke They are as unprofessional as it gets I guess the owners son didn't like the way I looked or something and charged me 10 dollars extra then my friends me not knowing this since I went to bathroom and out on course asked my friends how much they paid I went back upset. Jim the guy behind counter basically told me I was lying and if I didn't like it to never come back wow really
Then while we was playing they followed our group the whole time maybe thinking we was going to steal dune dirt who knows but the golf course is horrid and the workers owners are also
Can't wait till this dump shuts down and someone who knows how to treat people and maintain a golf course will buy it half price

Apparently Mr. Platt and his group have vision issues. Or maybe there was, on the day they played, a need for fairway grass to be cut. We played the course yesterday, June 23,2010, and found it challenging as well as interesting. If you can place your tee shots in or near the generous, for the most part, fairways, you can score well and enjoy your round. The greens are very well maintained and if you know how to read greens, hint to Mr. Platt, they are very fair. The course seems to be a bit understaffed as far as maintenance is concerned. The bunkers are in desperate need of help but that would be my only strong concern. For a $20 senior rate it is a bargain. I haven't played the other courses in the immediate area but plan to do so to get a perspective of comparison among those available to the public. My opnion is try it and see for yourself.

I played this course yesterday, (April 23, 2009) I found this course to be a big joke. If you like playing golf in a plowed field loaded with weeds then play here but if you would like to play golf do not play here. We lost balls in the fairway, the roughs were in better shape. I read that people say they have the best greens around, that is a out right lie, balls do not roll with the lay of the greens, you have no clue as to where your ball will go. Please don't waste your money on this course. If you choose to hit balls and not find them go to someones cow pasture and hit them for free. the staff members are rude and they will lie to you, they follow you around like they are afraid you will steal a piece of dirt or rock. The only positive I will say for this course is that it is a pretty piece of land to build a golf course so I would wait until they do. Play one of the other course around Murfreesboro, there is one right down the road call Indian Hill that is 100 times better than this one and is cheaper in price or you can play at the VA course for only $6 dollars, it is one step above this course. The best course in this area is the Old Fort Park Golf Course at the same price as Indian Hills. I will never play this course again, unless they do some serious changes, like put in a golf course!

The biggest joke in golf. dont waste your money.

Course is in terrible condition with weeds in fairways and bald dirt spots in fairways. It seems maybe they have run out of money to maintain this course.

Nice For The Price

I enjoy this course and you will you too if you stay on the fairway. Mild difficulty, but enjoyable.
