The golf course was great but the rangers and starter were the worst I have ever dealt with. The scenery was amazing and overall the course was in great shape. There were a few holes on the back that needed some work but like I said pretty good. The starter wasn't happy about us being 10 minutes late for our tee time on a slow Satan's said we needed to be out before the members showed up. The rangers constantly harassed our foursome and ruined the round. We completed the first 9 in two hours and ten minutes and weed told we needed to move faster every three holes by a sarcastic and rude guy. On the back it wasn't much better as we were held up the whole time and again harassed by yet another ranger. Overall the course was worth the $55 but the staff on the course was ridiculous.

Very beautiful course and well-maintained. Great deals through golfnow make it an excellent value (we played for $26) but it is likely to be crowded. No gnats in November!

I have played Pebble, TPC Sawgrass, Old Head and this is up there with them!!!! Top 10 most scenic and best groomed! A MUST PLAY!!

Beautiful course and worth the 60 bones if you're in town and have the chance to play. Definitely some memorable holes, especially 12. Gnats are annoying but not as bad as I thought they would be after reading reviews here. I hope to play there again.

DO NOT RENT CLUBS FROM COURSE!!! I am one that never complains but this one I had to say something. They will tell you over the phone that you get to choose from Calloway, Titleist ($30) and Cobra ($50). However, when we had a 7:50am tee time on 7/5 the clubs we got were very very old and I had one Titleist club the rest were off brands. My son had four PWs in his bag and had to use mostly my clubs to play. I spoke with the boy at the pro shop (where you check in) about it and he stated he was going to sort all the clubs that afternoon. A lot of good that did for us. He didn't even offer to give me a refund on the set my son used. Very disappointed in customer service and the expectation on the clubs. I was not expecting brand new or even slightly used clubs but I did expect to get what I was told. AGAIN DO NOT RENT CLUBS FROM COURSE. The course however was very nice and very challenging.

The course is simply beautiful, the pro shop staff helpful and friendly and the entire 18 holes fun to play. While not an easy course from the tips, it offers challenges and rewards for well hit shots. The tee boxes, fairways and bunkers were all well maintained and the greens in good to excellent condition. Needless to say, the views are spectacular.

If you're playing golf while in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, this is a MUST PLAY course!

Played all 18 and was absolutely the finest course in the area. I will go out of my way to play again ! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course is truely one of a kind, front nine is open and relatively easy but the back nine is tight and very challenging !! No.12 is one to remember ! 190 yd. 9 iron !! I had to drop a club on most shots, 5 iron instead of a 4 and so on. Forget the other courses in the area and just play this one !!!

Great Course 2nd fav

Played 07/10/09.

Amenities (3.5 stars): The clubhouse was nice, the staff friendly, and the carts (mandatory) handled the terrain quietly and comfortably. Bring your own water because the fountain water on the course is undrinkable.

Difficulty (4 stars): Challenging but not impossible. Only played the front 9 which is arguably the easier half of the course.

Maintenance (4.5 stars): The course was in remarkably good shape minus a few areas of new growth.

Scenery (4.5 stars): There are several elevated tees which offer gorgeous views of both the course itself and the surrounding mountains. Some busy roads surround holes 7-9.

Value (4 stars): $30 (cart included) seemed more than fair for 9 beautiful and challenging holes of golf. As stated in previous reviews, the price fluctuates quite a bit so going later in the day may be the best option.

One final note: I was fighting off giant swarms of gnats on nearly every hole. Either go on a cool, dry day or bring some extra bug spray. Trust me!

Played this on 6/15/09. Front nine is wide open, back nine is much tighter and definitely more hilly. Hole #10 played the most difficult for our group. The greens were holding really well, but were pretty bumpy and really tough to get a good read on which way the grain was growing. Huge difference in the speed depending on the grain direction. Pick up a 'tip' brochure before you play, and pay attention when it says to hit an extra club, they're not lying! Shot an 85 and could have easily shaved 5 strokes by making a few putts and/or hitting 1 more club. A bit pricey at $60, you can save $10 by playing after 1:00 PM.

Really enjoyed this course.. My wife and I were greeted very friendly, and they worked us into a tee time. Very scenic and hilly. No#12 was breathtaking in that it drops several feet in elevation (211 yards with a Nine iron). The marshals were apoligizing for the resoding of some of the course, but the course was in great shape.
the best of all the courses we played in the area. A must play if you are in the area.

This is a very scenic course that I make a point of playing when I am in the area. It is very scenic especially in the fall. The back nine is very different in style from the front nine and is much more narrow and sloped.

Played here last fall with a group of close friends. All of us had a great time. Course was in really good shape. Beautiful views! Enjoyed all 18 holes. Number 12 is one you'll never forget. I will play here often.

Wonderful course! It was in Great Shape and staff was helpful. But BeWare if you are afraid of heights! I was not aware of this before I played and this fear of mine almost ruined a great course. So if you have a fear of falling off a cliff when you swing you can skip # 12 or pick another course. I fell in love with 9 and 10 to wonderful par 5's.

Entirely to costly its actually 61 on weekends. The temporary greens are in poor condition.

12th Hole is a once in a lifetime hole to play. Course is very well maintained
