I used to love this course - you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere for most of the course. Love the scenery, but this course has become too overplayed and the course has suffered. These used to be some of the best greens in Middle Tennessee, but I could no longer say this.

very well maintained, scenic course. challenging layout, saw more wild turkey on the back 9 than i've seen in bars!

After reading prior reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect, but overall a good golf experience. No problems at all with staff and the course was in good shape. Very scenic course and yes, I did see numerous wild turkeys. The staff had warned me about unforgiving rough, and while I spent a fair amount of time there, I didn't find it to be nearly as difficult as many links courses I've played. Biggest problem for me was finding my ball- clover did a good job of hiding it. Also, there was no problem with pace of play- our threesome finished in 4 1/4 hours-not bad for a Memorial Day Saturday. My only complaint was price- $41 for 18 holes w/cart... seems high for a muni. But, I'd play there again, no question.

I really enjoyed this course. Its pretty well kept and the wildlife and scenery are nice as well. Its by no means the best course, but it's a good course for a good value.

Very nice setting right outside of Nashville. What the course lacks in amenities it more than makes up for in scenery, wildlife and value. Almost impossible to play without seeing deer and turkey. Holes are challenging with tree lined fairways and stout par 3's. Overall a great course - especially for the money.

Greens were in great shape, especially considering the lack of rain this summer. Fairways are also well kept. Overall, a pretty nice, fairly challenging public course.

This place is great

Anyone who bashes this course has no appreciation for the game of golf in middle Tennessee. One of the few places that allows you to walk any time of day anywhere. Almost impossible to get a tee time and with good reason as it is the best public course in the greater Nashville area. From the tips it is about 6900 but plays even longer. This tight gem is a true treasure to area. The holes are all very challenging, and the course is kept in great condition for a public course. The price value of about 25 bucks to play on a Saturday makes this place indcredible. If you visit the Nashville area this course is a must play!

good course but very bad staff dont play here unless you want to be insulted!!

The rudiest management that I have ever encountered. I played this course a few times. The last time I played, management didn't allow us to tee off until nearly 10 minutes after our scheduled tee time. On at least 4 occasions, management came by and told us to pick up the pace despite the fact that, to do so, we would have been hitting up on the group in front of us. Not a bad course, provided that management learns how to correctly schedule tee times.

This is worth it!

After reading some other reviews I was not looking forward to this course. The staff was professional and friendly, the course was challenging and well maintained. I had a great time at this course- they must have made some changes from the other reviews.
